Dates and times
Accommodation check in TBC
If you are arriving earlier or leaving later than the course dates then it is your responsibility to make sure that you have booked your own accommodation for that period. We may choose to book one of the apartments for some extra days to allow for this.
Classes will take place from Monday to Friday for two weeks with 4 hours of tuition each day. Class start and finish times may vary due to tutor/venue availability.
Participants will be expected to be able to play a variety of bateria instruments including Surdo, Caixa, Repique, Tamborim, Agogô, Chocalho and Cuíca. Hand drum and pandeiro experience is also required.
If you feel you need to get up to speed on some of these instruments, JP Percussion runs one day, weekend and residential courses in the UK and sometimes other parts of Europe. Sign up to our mailing list and like our facebook page to keep up to date.
