1. Who we are
These terms apply when you buy goods from jppercussion.com. We are JP Percussion Limited, 108 Hallmead, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, SG6 4BJ. Email mail@jppercussion.com, phone 07562 598940. We are not VAT registered.

By placing an order you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 to order.

2. The goods
Descriptions, photos and specifications are for guidance. Instruments made from natural materials (hide heads, wood, rope) vary a little in colour, grain and finish, and that isn't a fault. All goods are subject to availability.

If you order anything made to your specification, it's your responsibility to make sure the details you give us are correct.

3. Placing an order
Listing goods on the website isn't an offer to sell. When you submit an order we'll send an acknowledgement; the contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We can refuse an order for any reason, and if we do we'll tell you why and refund anything you've paid.

Please check your order confirmation and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

4. Price and payment
The price is the one shown on the website when you order, plus any delivery charge shown at checkout. Payment is taken in full when you place the order.

For orders delivered outside the UK, prices don't include import duty, taxes or carrier handling fees. See our Returns & Customs page for how these work.

5. Delivery
We'll deliver to the address you give us within any timeframe we've agreed, or otherwise within 30 days. If we can't deliver on time you can cancel and we'll refund you in full.

We may deliver in more than one parcel if stock requires it, at no extra cost to you. If a delivery fails because nobody is available and the parcel is returned to us, we may charge the reasonable cost of storing and redelivering it.

The goods are your responsibility from the moment they're delivered to you or collected. They remain ours until we've received payment in full.

6. Cancellation, returns and faulty goods
As a consumer you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. How to cancel, which items can't be returned, who pays return postage, how refunds work and what to do if something arrives damaged or faulty are all set out on our Returns & Customs page, which forms part of these terms.

7. Business, school and band orders
These terms are written for consumers. If you're buying for a business, school, band or other organisation, the consumer cancellation rights above don't apply. Tell us before you order if you need business terms.

8. Our liability
We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses such as loss of profit.

9. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for details. For any data query, email mail@jppercussion.com.

10. Events beyond our control
If something outside our reasonable control (for example a carrier strike or a supplier failure) stops us meeting these terms, we'll let you know as soon as we can and do what's reasonable to put it right. This doesn't affect your right to cancel for late delivery.

11. Complaints
If there's a problem, contact us first and we'll aim to respond within five working days.

12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring a claim in your local courts.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
