Traditional surdo beaters as used by all Rio samba schools. Wooden handle and a head which is hard internally but with a soft exterior.
 
Four different size options to choose from.
 
Extra small (Coquinho) - Length36cm, head diameter 2.8cm. Suitable for 14, 16 & 18” surdos. Also suitable for any small bass drum, including zabumbas and small nesting surdos.
 
Small - Length 33cm. Head diameter 4cm. Suitable for 16" 18" & 20" diameter Surdos
 
Large - Length 36cm. Head diameter 5cm. Suitable for Surdos of 22" diameter and above.
 
Extra Large - Length 41cm. Head diameter 6cm. Suitable for a 22" 24” 26” 28” Surdos or bigger. Helps in producing a warmer, more round tone from the drum.
