Carry this unique and cute little shaker with you everywhere and be ready to play the moment someone strikes up a samba.

Many of the first sambas in Brazil started in people's kitchens. In true Brazilian inventive style, various utensils were used as percussion instruments. Some of those include the matchbox and the frying pan or frigideira, plate and knife (prato e faca), xeque balde (shakey bucket), among others.

Use it to play the famous telecoteco samba rhythm and many other fun patterns. Hold it in one hand, play it with the fingertips of the opposite hand whilst simultaneously tapping the underside with the fingertips of the hand holding the instrument.

To produce a tooth brushing sound effect, cup it between your palms and shake it whilst changing the shape of your hands.
