Contemporânea Napa Korino Surdo Head 24"

Napa, or korino, heads are synthetic leather bonded to nylon, giving a deep, warm, round bass that's lovely on surdos, tantans and rebolos. You can even try one on a pandeiro for something a bit different. They're a great alternative to hide heads, especially if you play somewhere wet, as they won't go slack in the damp the way skin does. Happiest with softer beaters or played by hand. Made at the Contemporânea factory in São Paulo.
This is the 24" size. Also available in 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", 20" and 22".
