Held horizontally at chest height, this chocalho has so many different types of moves to explore. Samba schools' shaker sections are highly choreographed these days. They utilise a mix of dramatic chocalho twists and turns as well as choreographed movements. Coupled with unison groove playing this brings a colourful spectacle to the front of the bateria.
